Centrale was evacuated this morning after firefighters were called to a flooding in the shopping centre.
Shoppers and staff were told to leave at about 11:30am while a crew from Croydon fire station dealt with the incident.
The crew was there for about 45 minutes.
A spokeswoman for the shopping centre said the incident was just a fire alarm.
She said: "We can confirm the centre was evacuated for a short period of time today following a fire alarm.
"The local fire brigade attended and the centre has now re-opened to all staff and customers."
