Storytelling, pirates, book signings and comedy are on offer at Leatherhead Theatre, as part of the ReadingZone Festival for children.
Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman, renowned author of the beloved Noughts & Crosses series, will talk about her books and being a writer.
Comedian and author James Campbell, who has appeared on Blue Peter teaching children how to make jokes, will be doing an hour of comedy and storytelling.
Pirates, dinosaurs and trolls will feature in an adventure event for children aged four to eight, with children’s authors Jonny Duddle and Adam Stower.
All will be signing books after their events.
