Diabetic people can get help from group launched in Ewell
Diabetic residents can now access information and support from a new Diabetes UK group for Surrey Downs, which was launched in Ewell on May 28.
Epsom Hospital diabetes specialists spoke at the event at Bourne Hall, which was attended by over 70 locals and the new mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Robert Foote.
The group, which was set up with a £220 donation from Epsom Rotary Club’s Bob Frisby, is part of a network of local groups across the country.
The network helps people living with diabetes to meet and share experiences, support and information.
