Croydon charity Lives Not Knives launched their apprenticeship programme in Centrale last week, writes Shaniqua Benjamin. 

A host of businesses attended the launch including Barclays Bank, Street League, Hampton Hilton, Croydon College, Fairfield Halls and KPMG.

Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell also attended the event and gave an address about the importance of apprenticeships and how they help young people.

Monique Rebeiro, CEO of LNK, said the aim was to work with the community to find apprenticeships for those who want them.
