An air ambulance came to the rescue of a rider who fell off a horse on Friday.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said they were called to a premises in Tilley Lane, Headley, at 8.30am.
He said: "It was to reports that a man in his 20s had fallen from a horse. We assessed and treated him for hip and lower back pain before he was taken to St George’s Hospital."
He said the patient was "knocked out" initially but regained consciousness.
An air ambulance mission report said that helicopter crew accompanied the patient to hospital by road.
It said a 21-year-old man had either fallen or been thrown off a horse.
