A 20-year-old journalism student who died after being taken ill at a home in Worcester Park is believed to have been the friend of a young man who lived there.
Tayla Woodard, 20, fell ill in the early hours of Sunday morning, March 9, at a property in Tamesis Gardens, an affluent cul-de-sac off Barrow Hill and Highdown in Old Malden.
She died later in hospital.
Speaking today, neighbours close to the detached home where Miss Woodard collapsed said they were unaware of anything wrong until emergency services arrived just before 5am.
It is understood the home where the tragedy happened belongs to the Rickett family - dad Michael, mum Susan and brothers Tim, Alex and Ben, a professional golf coach living in the US.
Neighbours suggested Miss Woodard was a friend of one of the two brothers who still live at the property.
A woman who answered the door this lunchtime was too upset to speak.
Friends and family have paid tribute to the Cornish-born 20-year-old, who was in the final year of a multimedia journalism course at Bournemouth University.
