Esher Youth Football Club took some time of the pitch a day at the races last week.
The team, sponsored by Sandown Park racecourse, were welcomed to the William Hill Imperial Cup Day on Saturday, March 8, by Rupert Trevelyan, regional director of London racecourses.
Mr Trevelyan said: “We are always looking for opportunities to support the local community and Esher Youth FC is one of the foremost football clubs in Surrey with an excess of 300 players registered with field teams in the Surrey Youth and Surrey Primary Leagues.
“We wish them best luck in their league for the remainder of this season.”
