Step back in time with a local author and discover a rural Hook of fruit trees and horse-drawn carts.
Historian Mark Davison, author of both ‘Hook Remembered’ and ‘Hook Remembered Again’, will give a talk on the area’s past at – where else? – the Hook Centre.
Davison’s books show off Hook’s history in glorious sepia and black-and-white tones in hundreds of photographs.
You may already know about famous residents like Enid Blyton, and that aviation legend Harry Hawker is buried at St Paul’s, but there is always more to learn.
