Police are renewing an appeal for witnesses following a collision in Wandsworth last month.
There were reports of a vehicle in collision with two pedestrians at at 12.40am Saturday, January 18, to East Hill, close to the junction with Alma Road.
London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended. A man and a woman both in their 40s were taken to a south London hospital.
The man remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition, the woman is also in hospital but her life is not endangered.
Officers believe that there was a third person on the pedestrian crossing at the time of the collision and are particularly keen to speak with them.
The 53-year-old female driver stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of drink drive.
She was taken to a south London police station and later bailed pending further enquiries.
