A lorry carring a digger has crashed into a bridge in Carshalton, causing travel delays.
The digger was on the back of the lorry and it got wedged underneath the rail bridge in North Street shortly after 3pm.
The blockage caused traffic to back up for about 10 minutes until workers managed to free the vehicle.
Disruption to train services is expected to affect both First Capital Connect and Southern customers.
