A Tudor explorer is set tell seafaring yarns involving the hardship on board and the horrors of living with scurvy.
A man playing privateer Simpkin, who sailed with Sir Francis Drake on the Golden Hinde, will visit Bourne Hall Museum Kids’ Club in February.
Just over a week later, the club members will get to create their own cave paintings by flickering light at Bourne Hall in Ewell.
Children will discover how and why these paintings were created by prehistoric men who crawled down in dark caves.
