Following on from a letter regarding the proposed MacDonald's in Stafford Road, Wallington, from Susan Moghaddam, had the council bothered to ask all the residents of Wallington I am sure the majority would have voted against this proposal. She can think otherwise but has no proof, no figures.
She is one person with her own views compared to the 100 protesters who aired their views publicly because of the strength of their opposition. How does she know the residents are old? And from another planet!!
Please be aware they were not speaking on her behalf, they were speaking on behalf of themsleves and the many others who object to this proposal.
In respect of Alan Fitter maybe she should move to a house behind the pub, and then maybe MacDonald's, she might then understand.
And how can she call the opening of a MacDonald's restaurant in Stafford Road, or any other road for that matter as 'progress'?? Laughable!
