Students have given the council gardens a spruce up ahead of Remembrance Day services.

Pupils from South Thames College on the Prince’s Trust Programme have completed their community project to rejuvenate the gardens outside the Civic Centre in Morden.

The 13 young people, aged between 16 to 25, made over £800 by helping pack people’s shopping in a local supermarket and completed a sponsored walk to fund the project.
