How ungrateful of Councillor Geiringer to state that the tea, coffee and biscuits provided at council tax payers' expense are not of the standard to which he is accustomed.
Having pocketed £9,306 in allowances during the past financial year, surely he should be able to afford the luxury assortment of refreshments he craves.
With Sutton Council regularly booking conference rooms at the Holiday Inn I can only assume they must provide a superior catering service than that offered at the civic offices.
From the photo of Councillor Geiringer on display at the council reception he does appear to be extremely well nourished and should be able to lastthrough a meeting without passing out with fatigue.
I look forward to seeing this particular expense removed from the annual budget.
