Parents want support from their councillors to prevent the proposed closure of Christ the King School, which should become a primary feeder school for oversubscribed Spelthorne Catholic schools. Christ the King RC Infants School is one of the best in Spelthorne for introducing infants to school life.

Also, antisocial behaviour in Hadfield Road occurs in all areas of Stanwell. It can only be stopped by police action and until the Government realises that just serving an Asbo is unfit, Stanwell will continue to have problems.

As Victor Agarwal is the new county councillor of New Labour, he should start by informing his political masters that taking a soft approach has a chance of only succeeding with a first offender.

I visited one of the residents of Stanwell, recommended that they set up a neighbourhood watch and apply to set up a section 30 order.

The police are fighting antisocial behaviour with one or two hands behind their backs through lack of funding, paperwork and the human rights legislation put in place by the Government who has not yet realised that legislation without enforcement achieves nothing.

The motorbikes and quadbikes that plague all of Spelthorne are not plated or covered by legislation on private or council property. Why not? All these items cannot be resolved by police without powers of arrest, councillors, county councillors or the public. It is only the Government that can introduce the legislation, which needs enforcement as do all laws.
