Conservation charity BTCV would like volunteers to join them on a trip to Kenley Common next Wednesday, December 20, to help with the preservation of the wartime blast pens.
Volunteers will be able to take a breather and watch gliders soaring in the skies above the site.
A mini-bus will pick up outside Croydon Crown Court in Altyre Road at 9.30am, returning at 4.30pm.
Tools and training are provided but bring old clothes, appropriate footwear, waterproofs and a packed lunch.
