A group of eco volunteers used horsepower to help restore a popular site.
The Coulsdon Coppice volunteers drafted in a Suffolk horse to their site in St David's, Coulsdon, to help pull out timber that had been felled the previous week.
The site, which is managed by the London Wildlife Trust and the local volunteer group, is undergoing a transformation.
Unsafe trees are being removed, trees are being reintroduced, hedges planted and steps constructed.
Members of Croydon BTCV have also taken part in the restoration project, while pupils from nearby Byron Primary School watched the horse in action.
