A pensioner has been raped in Chessington.
Police were called at 6.35am today to reports of a burglary and rape at a residential property in the Chessington area.
A police spokesman said this evening: "The victim was a woman in her 70s.
"London Ambulance Service were called to the scene and she was taken to a south London hospital.
"Officers from the sexual offences exploitation and child abuse command based at Sutton are investigating."
No one has been arrested.
