Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road accident in Esher in which a motorist in his 60s died after hitting a tree.
It happened in Church Street, at the junction with Lammas Lane, yesterday morning just after 10am.
The man was driving his white Ford Transit van along Church Street, when it hit the tree, leaving him with serious injuries.
He has not yet been formally identified and a postmortem examination was due to take place on Tuesday.
