Did you really have to print Mr Murphy's letter in your issue of November 30?

The fox is anything but a much maligned creature struggling to survive. Is Mr Murphy confusing the fox with the human race?

He obviously doesn't have to clear the foxes out of his garden and clean up the filth they leave behind them before letting the children out to play.

Is he not aware that a fox would kill Mr Moore's chickens solely for the pleasure of killing them, not to eat them to survive?

It strikes me that squawking, fluttering and being over-fed is not confined to hens as he suggests.

Would Mr Murphy now like to let us know what effort he has made to put a stop to building more houses on our green spaces?
