Residents went shopping in seafront boutiques
A Thornton Heath care home treated its residents to a day out to the sunny seaside.
Residents and staff at Elmwood Care Home, in Elmwood Road, made the most of the summer weather with a trip to Hastings.
They donned sunhats and sunglasses to take a stroll along the seafront promenade and enjoy a refreshing ice cream.
Shola Adedugbe, manager of the home, said: "The residents had a great time in Hastings and it was lovely to hear them talking so excitedly about it to the other residents and staff."
