A jilted lover who tore up her ex-boyfriend's passport during a row has been fined.
Hannah McKie tore up her ex-boyfriend Nick Morris's passport during a row at a house in Central Road, Worcester Park, on August 2.
Croydon magistrates heard how Mr Morris had ended their relationship earlier in the year and had returned to the house to collect some of his belongings.
A row erupted between the two of them and a physical fight broke out. Mr Morris walked away from the fight to gather his things but McKie picked up his passport and started tearing out the pages.
McKie was, this morning, handed a 12 month conditional discharge, meaning she will face extra punishment if she commits any offences in the next year, and ordered to pay £100 to Mr Morris and a victim surcharge of £15.
