A 17-year-old from Streatham has collected the keys to a new Alfa MiTo Sprint after being picked from the crowd at the Olympic Stadium during last month’s London Anniversary Games.
Femi Adigun-Boaye collected his new wheels from Motor Village Marylebone in London after being randomly selected on the Olympic Stadium big screen.
Following a nervous walk from his seat to the track, Femi went head to head with another finalist and emerged victorious after choosing the correct keys to open the car.
Femi said: “Every day on my way to school I would pass the dealership in Croydon and fell in love with Alfa Romeo cars.
"I was so shocked to be selected from 80,000 people and then ecstatic when the door opened and I had won. It was a fantastic surprise at the end of a great day of athletics.”
