Two security guards have been attacked by a man in custody at Kingston Crown Court, the Surrey Comet understands.
The attack happened this morning, in the cells beneath the court.
It is understood the prisoner was going to see their barrister when the incident happened.
The guards, who both work for security contractor Serco, were left with facial injuries.
Kingston Crown Court declined to comment.
