Play equipment at a recreation ground has been replaced after it was set on fire.
Vandals targeted play equipment at Morden Recreation Ground overnight on Tuesday May 28.
A new pirate ship slide and treasure chest was opened at the grounds this week.
Councillor Maxi Martin, cabinet member for children’s services, said: "It’s wonderful to see children having fun in this lovely play area once more.
"We’re lucky to have so many open green spaces in Merton which we all need to look after so we can all enjoy them.
"I would encourage everyone to get outdoors and into our parks this summer."
