Do any Croydon councillors ever consider the infrastructure of West Croydon when they are granting planning permission for more flats and houses?

London Road, Thornton Road, Mitcham Road, Purley Way, and Five Ways are already heavily congested as the council well knows.

Mayday Hospital is busy, most of the medical practices and schools are full, and let's not forget the water shortage which has been forecast for the future.

In my opinion it would have benefited the taxpayers of West Croydon and Waddon to have had a large part of the Purley Way site turned into a recreational site for the youngsters of the area. There they could let off steam, play sports, show off their cars and bikes - the options are endless.

It has got to be better than hanging around on street corners, which is the only choice available to most of them in this area.

I get the impression we now have a council made up of Nimby's.

It would be interesting to know just how many, if any, councillors reside in the West Croydon area.
