Although the new academic year is still some months away, many year 11 pupils have already made decisions about what they want to do after leaving school.

But for those who have not decided, there are still many options. For example, pupils who have completed their GCSEs can study AS, A levels or BTEC qualifications.

Alternatively, apprenticeship schemes are ideal for those who have specific career paths in mind.

Croydon Sixth Form College offers a range of more than 120 further education qualifications, including the opportunity to re-sit some GCSEs.

School pupils wanting to study at the college next September will receive application forms from their schools.

However, those studying outside the borough need to request a copy of the Croydon sixth form prospectus 2007/08.

For more information call the course information centre on 020 8760 5914. Alternatively, if you would like to talk to tutors and get a tour of the facilities go to the college on February 14 between 4pm and 8pm when it will be hosting its spring open event.
