A man has appeared in court charged with GBH following an assault outside a pub in Purley.
Police were called to the Rectory Pub in Brighton Road, at 10.15pm on Sunday August 18, to reports of an assault.
Officers found a 31-year-old man with non-life threatening injuries who was taken to a south London hospital.
Simon Turner of Mansell Way, Caterham, appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court this morning.
The 25-year-old is also charged with possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on September 4.
