A man has been arrested following an assault outside a Purley pub last night which left a man with serious injuries.
Police were called at 10:15pm on Sunday August 18 to the Rectory Pub in Brighton Road, Purley.
Officers found a 31-year-old man with injuries who taken to a south London hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 25-year-old man was arrested this morning on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He currently remains in a south London police station.
Officers from Croydon CID are investigating the incident.
