Firefighters from New Addington used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze
Firefighters were called to a bin fire in New Addington last night.
The crew were called to Oakbank at about 9.30pm to reports a metal bin in a bin store was alight.
A hose reel was used to extinguish the blaze and firefighters spent about 30 minutes at the scene.
No-one was hurt in the incident, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
Police have been informed of the incident.
