Badminton players are being invited to pick up a racket to help break a world record.
Epsom’s Ebbisham Performance Centre needs at least 120 people to break the record for the longest rally on Saturday, August 31.
The bid to get into the Guinness Book of Records will raise money for the performance centre and MERU, a charity which provides equipment for disabled children.
A 24-hour badminton marathon will also run from Friday to Saturday.
Mel Jones, from the performance centre, said: "It’s to raise money and awareness of the performance centre and to give kids a bit of fun.
"We would like as many people as possible to come down. It does not matter about age or ability."
On August 31, juniors are invited to join in the marathon from 8am to 10am and adults are welcome to take part from 10am to 2pm. There will be exhibition matches at 2pm.
The world record attempt will take place between 4pm and 6pm at Ebbisham Sports Club in Eastway, Epsom.
