Jobi McAnuff has praised Shefki Kuqi after his match-winning performance on Saturday and admitted he understood what the striker was going through during his slow start to his Palace career.
The Eagles winger looked on in admiration after the Finn scored one and created another in the Eagles' 3-0 romp over Queens Park Rangers and feels the striker is now returning to his form of old.
"He looked a different player," said McAnuff. "I don't know what he had for dinner on Friday!
"We all know what he's capable of. It's been difficult for him, I had a similar experience at West Ham where I did not play much. When you go to another club and play every week, it takes a bit of time to settle in and get some form.
"The way he played on Saturday was how I remember him at Ipswich, where I played against him a few times. He's just so hard to play against and long may it continue."
