A former teacher and choirmaster has appeared in court charged with historic sexual offences.
John Francis Lillis, 63, of Arthur Road, Windsor, who had previously worked at St George’s College, Weybridge, pleaded not guilty at Guildford Crown Court yesterday to one count of attempted buggery and two counts of indecent assault.
The alleged offences, were said to have taken place against boys under the age of 16 between 1976 and 1982, did not happen at St George’s College.
The jury was told how, at a previously hearing at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on May 1, 2013, Lillis pleaded guilty to four counts of non recent indecent assault against two boys under the age of 16.
The trial continues.
