A 16-year-old girl pleaded not guilty to the murder of a Thornton Heath school welfare assistant at the Old Bailey last week.
The girl, who cannot be named, is charged with the murder of Tracey Ann Meade.
The 39-year-old welfare assistant from Phil Edwards Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), died in May after being attacked and stabbed near garages in Warminster Road, South Norwood.
