Croydon's trading standards team is running a pre-Christmas drive to promote the use of proof of age cards.
Young people can prove their age using CitizenCards and the team is introducing them to secondary schools in the borough.
The use of the cards will now be promoted in pubs and clubs in the town centre - something that JD Wetherspoon's already does.
For more information contact John Bagnall at Croydon trading standards on 0208 760 5648 or log on to citizencard.com.
