A primary school failed by a watchdog just four years ago is well on its way to getting top grades.
Culvers House Primary School in Beddington Corner was failed by Ofsted in 2009 but a recent inspection deemed it 'good' in every area except the pupils' behaviour, which was rated 'outstanding'.
The report concluded achievement at the school has improved year-on-year and described pupils' behaviour as 'impeccable' and their attitude to learning as 'exemplary', following the inspection earlier this month.
Culvers House Primary’s headteacher, Robert Eyre-Brook, said: "It has been a real privilege leading this school over the past three and a half years. It has been an amazing journey and everyone is very proud of what has been achieved.
"Above all, the children are fantastic and are so proud of themselves and their school. We are now embarked on the last stage to becoming outstanding across the board."
