Three men were arrested yesterday following a cash-in-transit robbery outside a Co-op in Addiscombe.
Police were called to the store in Lower Addiscombe Road, near the junction with Moreland Road, at 11am.
Officers attended and stopped a vehicle in Somerset Gardens, Thornton Heath, a short time later, where a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Two other men were also stopped and arrested in Ederline Avenue, Croydon, following further enquiries.
A cash bosh was recovered in Norbury Hall Park.
All three men, who are aged in their 20s, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and currently remain in custody at a south London police station.
Officers from the Met's Flying Squad are investigating, enquiries continue.
