A driver was rushed to hospital and police searched for a second driver after a car crash last night.
The man with chest pains was taken to St Helier Hospital following the crash by the junction of London Road and Briarwood Road in Stoneleigh.
Emergency services were called at about 11pm.
An Epsom fire station spokesman said he believed the injured man was a taxi driver.
He said: “The driver of the other car left the scene and when we left the police were still searching.
"It appeared to be some sort of head-on collision judging by the damage."
