The biggest day of play in the UK is back and children are invited to join in the fun in East Molesey.

More than 100,000 youngsters across the country will take part in fun-packed activities for the biggest annual celebration of play.

The fun-filled family day in Hurst Park will have a host of free activities to keep the whole brood busy and entertained.

Children will be able to get involved with arts and crafts, face painting, water games, bouncy castsle, junk modelling and much more.

Councillor Jan Fuller, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, says: “Play Day is all about promoting the importance of play time. By playing, children learn how to share, be fair and cope with winning or losing.

“In Elmbridge, we take children’s fun and right to play very seriously. We strive to maintain the existing play areas and equipment we have across the borough and add to them when possible so that children and young people can fully enjoy their play experience.”
