Two men were taken to hospital after a car crashed into a house in Banstead this morning.
Firefighters managed to free two casualties from the car and evacuated the two-storey detached house.
Emergency services were called to Higher Drive at 7.22am.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a 21-year-old man with pelvic injuries and another man were put on spinal boards and taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.
She said their injuries were not life threatening, adding: “They were both conscious and breathing.”
She said two ambulances, two paramedics in cars, a duty officer and air ambulance personnel in a car had been sent to the scene.
A London Fire Brigade spokesman said a structural engineer had also been called to the scene.
