A picturesque village pub has opened its doors again after splashing out £185,000 on a revamp.
The Woodman in Woodmansterne Street, Woodmansterne near Banstead, reopened with a launch on Friday.
The pub garden has been made more enticing with an outside bar, paved barbecue area, outside sofas, wicker chairs and deckchairs.
A team of builders and designers have also freshened up the inside to create a brighter open plan space and given it a sophisticated country pub feel.
General manager Graham Reed says: "The team and I look forward to welcoming customers new and old to Woodman after our refurbishment.
"Our friendly atmosphere and reputation for delicious food speaks for itself but now with an updated new look it will be even more enticing."
His team are preparing for the Woodman music festival on the bank holiday weekend, featuring six bands and solo artists, and its summer fête in September.
Mr Reed says: "We have a busy summer planned and with the scorching weather predicted to stay our garden will be a fantastic oasis for our customers."
Open log fires will are set to be restored in preparation for cosy winter evenings later this year.
