A group of amateur rowers from Walton made it into the final of the annual dragon boat challenge in Kingston.
The Rochills Rockitts, a team made up of family-run Rochills estate agents, entered the race on Sunday, July 21, in support of Kingston Young Carers.
Despite having no rowing experience and having never entered a dragon boat before, the team successfully became the only amateur team to make it to the final.
The team came in sixth place out of the eight finalists with a photo finish between all eight boats.
Marcel Roccia of Rochills said: “We are feeling very proud of ourselves at the moment and this just goes to show how strong we are as a team in whatever we do.”
