Two men have denied assault after an alleged fight between two barber shops next door to each other in Kingston.

Farhan Ismail, 35, of Earle Gardens, Kingston, and Zeshan Ismail, 27, of Coombe Lane West, Kingston, appeared in Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on July 24.

They denied inflicting grievous bodily harm with- out intent and assault on Mohanad Nasraldin and Omar Nasraldin, from next door shop Bonta, on Monday evening.

Bonta was a sandwich shop bought on a 12-year lease in the past few months. But the new owners were in the process of opening a hairdressers.

The Ismails will appear at Kingston Crown Court on August 7, for trial.

Ismail’s Barber Shop has been cutting hair for more than 10 years and counts England rugby captain Chris Robshaw, a former Kingston resident, among its clientele.
