The date for one of the year's biggest eco-events has been announced
Carshalton Environmental Fair will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26, and this year's incarnation of the popular event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Attractions include music and performances on three stages, hundreds of stalls, local produce, children's activities and more. Everything will be themed around saving the environment showcase local sustainability initiatives.
More than 50 volunteers helped at last year's event and organisers are looking for people to help out at this year's festival. If you are interested you can contact tansy@ecolocal.org.uk.
