Elmbridge Council wants residents to share their views on whether it should create a splash pool park area.
The council is considering replacing one of its three paddling pools, Hersham, Oatlands or Churchfield Recreation Ground, with the small splash pool park area with water play equipment.
Without residents’ input on the proposed project, it will not go ahead, the council said.
Councillor Jan Fuller, portfolio holder for leisure and cultural services, said: “I strongly encourage parents and residents to give their views on the installation of new water play equipment at one of these three popular parks.
“We are aiming to improve the quality of provision to the high standard that it is expected and greatly welcome your opinions on this new project”.
A questionnaire can be filled out online by visiting elmbridge.gov.uk/parks and green spaces officers will also visit the parks and ask visitors opinions.
Questionnaires must be completed by August 30.
