Two men have been arrested after a man was attacked in a supermarket car park and taken to hospital with head injuries.
The incident occurred at 10.30pm on Friday, July 19, in the car park of Tesco Express on Pelman Way, Epsom.
A man in his 30s, from Wimbledon, suffered head and facial injuries after being assaulted and was taken to St George’s Hospital, in Tooting, for treatment. He was discharged the following day.
An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Epsom, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have been released on police bail until August 21 while the investigation continues.
