Football and summer holidays go hand in hand and this year Sutton police is organising a football week.
Starting on Monday, July 29, 40 boys and girls aged 6-11 will be taking part in training sessions, a mini tournament and an awards presentation on Friday August 2.
Two qualified Football Association coaches will be the event, which takes place at Cheam Recreation Ground, from the 10am start to 2pm finish.
The Cheam Community Football Coaching Event has been organised by Cheam Safer Neighbourhoods Team each year since 2006.
PCSO Steve King, of Cheam safer neighbourhoods team, said: "A total of 200 children will be taking part during the week. This is a great opportunity for local children to get to know their local police officers - and for us to get to know them."
