A man and woman were threatened with a knife and tied up when robbers raided a Selsdon Post Office.

Police now want to speak to anyone who saw a dark coloured saloon car which the suspects are thought to have used in their getaway after cash was stolen from a safe.

The robbery happened just after 6am on November 18 in Limpsfield Road.

Police said two men wearing dark-coloured tracksuits and balaclavas walked in and threatened staff with a knife.

After tying up the man and woman the men, who were disturbed by a delivery driver, took hundreds of pounds from the safe and ran away. Then they got into the dark saloon car which drove off in the direction of Warlingham.

Police particularly want to speak to witnesses who saw the vehicle in Limpsfield Road at 6.15am or in Selsdon Park Road at the junction of Old Farleigh Road at 5.55am.
