Creative pupils from a Purley school showed of their art skills in a competition to design a poster reflecting what 'care' means to them.
The students from Cumnor House School are participating in Sunrise Senior Living of Purley's celebrations for National Care Home Open Day on Friday.
The care home will open its doors to the public to show what they are all about and Councillor Steve O'Connell will judge the youngsters efforts and announce the winning design.
The winner whose art will collect a prize of Derwant Academy wooden box set of pencils and be entered into a national competition, competing with the 26 winners from other Sunrise communities.
The national winner will be announced at a later date.
