A mobility scooter charity is extending its opening hours and opening a newly refurbished storeroom and demonstration area.
From July 1 Sutton Shopmobility will be open on Mondays to extend its services to people six days a week.
The charity, based in the St Nicholas Centre car park, offers manual, electric and powered scooters and wheelchairs to people with mobility problems.
They also provide assistant services for visually impaired people or those who are new to using mobility scooters.
Sutton and Cheam MP Paul Burstow and Sutton Mayor Sean Brennan will officially open the new area’s and marking the extended opening hours at an event at 10.15am on July 1.
